This is the seat distribution

According to the orders of the Railway Board, four seats, two lower, two middle, two seats in third AC and two seats in AC3 economy are reserved for the disabled in sleeper class. He or the people traveling with him will be able to sit on this seat.

At the same time, in Garib Rath train, 2 lower seats and 2 upper seats are reserved for the disabled. They will have to pay full fare for these seats.

Railways will give seats to senior citizens without asking

Let us tell you, apart from these, Indian Railways gives lower berths to senior citizens i.e. elderly people without asking. For women aged 45 years and above and pregnant women, 6 to 7 lower berths in sleeper class, 4-5 lower berths in each coach of third AC, 3-4 lower berths in each coach of second AC are reserved in the train. They get the seat without selecting any option.

At the same time, if a senior citizen, a disabled person or a pregnant woman is given an upper seat while booking a ticket, then during the onboard ticket checking, TT has a provision to give them a lower seat.
