Now online unreserved tickets can also be deducted sitting at home. It can be availed through www.uts on mobile.indianrail.gov.in. This facility of recharging will not only save the time of the passengers but also there will be no rush at the station ticket counters during this corona period. How to take advantage of it
>> First of all, a rail passenger has to register on the website www uts on mobile.indianrail.gov.in.
>> After this, click on the option of ‘Smart Card Recharge’.
>> Pay through digital options like Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Internet Banking etc.
>> The money will be deducted from the bank account on payment and the passengers will have to visit the Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) of the respective area within a period of 15 days or the expiry of the card, whichever is earlier.
>> The smart card has to be placed on the reader on the ATVM
>> Select the option ‘- Recharge Smart Card’
>> After this the amount will be topped up on the smart card through ATVM.
