After this horrific accident, Railways has canceled 123 trains, diverted 56 trains and short-terminated 10. Apart from this, 14 trains have been rescheduled by the Railways. Route of these trains diverted
Similarly, the trains whose route has been diverted include Tambaram-New Tinsukhia Express, New Delhi-Puri Express, Purushottam Express and Digha to Visakhapatnam Superfast Express. The short-terminated trains include Falaknuma Express, Baghajatin Express, Balasore-Bhubaneswar Express and Jaleswar-Puri MEMU.
