Keeping in view the safety of the passengers, the Ministry of Railways has extended its Coronavirus (COVID19) guidelines for another six months or till further instructions. Also, according to the information received from the railways, if any person is caught without a mask in the railway premises and trains, he can be fined up to Rs 500.

Let us tell that the festival season is about to start, in such a situation, the number of travelers returning home increases significantly. In such a situation, the railways does not want to do any kind of negligence, which will increase the cases of corona and cause problems to the people. It is worth noting that in April this year, Indian Railways had issued a notification regarding wearing of masks at railway stations. Special guidelines were issued for people to wear masks at railway stations. Under this, a provision was made to impose a fine of Rs 500 for not wearing a mask in the railway premises or inside the train. Indian Railways had extended that guidelines for the next 6 months.
Freight of festival special trains increased
In view of the rush of passengers in the festival, the railways has increased the frequency of many trains. The passenger load is highest on the Mumbai route. In view of this, the Railways has extended the frequency of 18 festival special trains running on the Mumbai route till 31 March 2022. All these trains coming to Mumbai from Darbhanga, Manduadih, Lucknow, Gorakhpur to Kanpur are being run for Mumbai. The trips of all these trains were ending by 31 October. In view of the increasing rush of passengers, the frequency of trains has been increased for five months.
