Keeping in mind the convenience of RAC passengers, the Railway Board has issued a letter to the General Managers of all its zones on 18 December 2023 that RAC ticket holders should also be provided the facility of complete bedroll kit during the journey. . It is clearly written in this letter that the fare of bedroll kit is also collected from the RAC ticket holders along with the ticket. Therefore, bedroll kits should also be provided to RAC ticket holders traveling in single class. It has also been clarified in the letter that this facility is not for AC chair class passengers.
