Only those passengers will be allowed to travel in the Ganpati special train, who will have a confirmed ticket. No provision has been made for traveling on waiting tickets. This rule has been kept so that there is no extra rush in the trains.
Indian Railways has given a big gift to the devotees on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Railways has decided to run 261 Ganpati special trains. Under this, Central Railway will run 201 Ganpati special train, Western Railway 42 Ganpati special train and Konkan Rail Corporation Limited (KRCL) will run 18 Ganpati special train. Some of these special trains have been run and passengers will get this service till September 20, 2021. All these trains are fully reserved and the fare has been kept special.
Keeping in mind the facilities of railway passengers during Ganpati festival, it has been decided to run Ganpati special train. During the festive season, the number of trains and trips have been increased so that there is no congestion in rail travel and passengers can take precautions of Corona carefully. 261 Ganpati special trains will be run for different stations of the country with special fare. Some of these trains have already started and in view of the convenience of the passengers, some air-conditioner coaches have also been added.
Kovid protocol will have to be taken care of

Train No. 01237 will depart Panvel at 2.10 pm on 8 September 2021 and 9 September 2021 and will reach Sawantwadi Road at 2.00 pm the next day. Train No. 01238 will leave Sawantwadi Road at 2.30 am on 8th September 2021 and 9th September 2021 and will reach Panvel at 12.00 pm on the same day. Train No. 01240 will leave Margao at 8.30 pm on 5th September, 7th September and 9th September 2021 and will reach LTT at 10.30 am the next day. The train will halt at Mangaon, Thane, Panvel Roha, Chiplun, Khed, Sangameshwar Road, Rajapur Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali.
Panvel-Kudal Special Train (Six Services)
Train No. 01243 will depart Panvel at 12.15 hrs on 4th September, 8th September and 11th September 2021 and will reach Kudal at 11.20 hrs on the same day. Train No. 01244 will leave Kudal at 12.10 pm on 3rd September, 7th September and 10th September 2021 and will reach Panvel at 11.10 pm on the same day.
