Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi Flights: In a move to expand its network, IndiGo has announced the launch of a new direct flight service between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi, from August 1. The new route will provide Indian travellers with enhanced access to explore island city of Abu Dhabi and beyond.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his excitement about the new addition, stating, “Bengaluru is the tenth city on the IndiGo network to offer direct flights between Abu Dhabi and India. With the addition of these flights, IndiGo offers 75 weekly frequencies to Abu Dhabi and over 220 to the UAE.”

The Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flight, designated as 6E 1438, will depart from Bengaluru daily (except Tuesdays) at 9:25 pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11:30 pm. The return flight, 6E 1439, will depart from Abu Dhabi daily (except Wednesdays) at 12:30 am and reach Bengaluru at 5:45 am.

Furthermore, IndiGo’s network expansion extends beyond the UAE, as the airline has also announced the launch of a direct flight service between Bengaluru and London Gatwick, starting from August 18. This new route will mark the fifth Indian city to establish direct connectivity with the UK’s second-largest airport, with Air India operating five pairs of flights per week on the Bengaluru-London Gatwick route increasing the total flights to and from London Gatwick to 17 pairs per week. Additionally, the airline will utilise its Boeing 787 Dreamliner for this route, featuring 18 flat beds in Business class and 238 Economy seats.
