IndiGo News: To strengthen domestic connectivity, India’s largest airline IndiGo has started direct flights (Delhi to Hubballi non stop flights) between national capital Delhi and Hubballi in Karnataka. Indigo has started new special daily direct flights between Delhi-Hubli from today i.e. 14th November. The connectivity between northern and southern India will increase with the addition of this new route from Hubli.
The domestic airline said that direct flights between Delhi-Hubli will not only increase passenger capacity but also provide more choice to the customers. The company said that with greater connectivity to different parts of the country, there will be overall development of Hubli and its neighboring areas. The new connections from Hubli will not only boost tourism and trade, but also make travel affordable by adding capacity.
Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo, said, “In line with our objective to enhance reach and strengthen domestic connectivity, we have launched special daily direct flights between Delhi-Hubli. The new flights will not only increase capacity, but also provide more choice to customers.”
He further added, “With more connectivity to different parts of the country, there will be overall development in Hubli and its neighboring regions. These new connectivity from Hubli will not only boost tourism and trade but will also increase passenger capacity and will also be economical. ”
IndiGo’s loss widens to Rs 1,583.34 crore
IndiGo’s parent company InterGlobal Aviation’s loss in the second quarter of the current financial year has increased to Rs 1,583.34 crore. The deficit has also increased due to the increase in expenditure. The airline said in a statement on November 4 that it had posted a loss of Rs 1,435.66 crore in the September quarter last year.
The company’s revenue increased to Rs 12,852.29 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 5,798.73 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. At the same time, the company’s expenses have increased to Rs 14,435.57 crore in the September quarter.
IndiGo’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Albers said that the September quarter is the second consecutive quarter that it has operated beyond its pre-Covid capacity. He said that we are continuously moving on the path of revival. We are getting benefit of many opportunities in domestic and international market.
