Indrani Rahman was a wonderful classical dancer. She was proficient in 4 types of dance forms- Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali and Odissi. Even after this competition, she did not let her passion for dance diminish. She did a whole world tour with her mother, so that she could get to know about different classical forms of dance. In the year 1961, Indrani was the first dancer to participate in the Asia Society Tour.
