3 new centers of excellence will be opened in Ambala, Yamunanagar and Hisar
Haryana Chief Minister Saini has proposed to open 3 new centres of excellence for litchi, strawberry, dates in Ambala, Yamunanagar and Hisar in the budget.
Flower market in Gurugram
The Chief Minister also proposed to set up a Horticulture Research Center in Palwal and a flower market in Gurugram.
Subsidy will be given on giving up paddy cultivation
It has been announced in the budget that under the Mera Pani Meri Virasat scheme, the subsidy on giving up paddy cultivation will be increased from Rs 7,000 per acre to Rs 8,000 per acre. At the same time, the subsidy amount on direct sowing of paddy was announced to be increased from Rs 4,000 per acre to Rs 4500 per acre.
These women farmers will get interest free loan up to Rs 1 lakh
In the budget, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini has announced that women farmers engaged in dairy farming, horticulture, animal husbandry and fisheries will be given an interest free loan of Rs 1 lakh.
