International Flight Service: New international flight will start on March 28, check price and schedule

Akasa Air International Flight Service: Akasa Air is going to start direct flights between Mumbai and Doha from March 28. This is Akasa’s first international flight.

Akasa Air International Flight Service: After rapidly expanding its foothold in the Indian aviation industry, Akasa Air has now started spreading its wings in other countries as well. The airline company is going to fly its first international flight on March 28 within two years of its inception. Akasa Air is about to start its first international flight to Doha. Airlines said that it is going to run four weekly non-stop flights from Doha to Mumbai. Its objective is to increase air connectivity between Qatar and India.

What is the schedule of Akasa between Mumbai-Doha?

According to the official website of Akasa Air, the airline will operate between Mumbai and Doba on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The starting price of flights on this route is around Rs 15,797.

Akasa will enter the world’s top 30 airlines

Vinay Dubey, Founder and CEO of Akasa Air, said that the airline’s entry into Qatar is a sign of its moving into the next phase. Akasa Air is moving towards joining the top 30 airlines of the world by the end of this decade. At present, 5 airlines operate international flights in India, these include Air India, Air India Express, Vistara, Indigo and SpiceJet.

How big is the fleet?

Akasa Air started its operations on August 7, 2022. Currently operates 23 Boeing 737 Max aircraft. Last month, the airline had ordered 150 Boeing 737 Max aircraft. In 2021, Akasa Air placed an initial order of 72 Boeing 737 Max aircraft, followed by an order for 4 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft in June 2023.

The launch of operations in Doha is in line with the Qatar Tourism Strategy 2030, which aims to make the country the fastest-growing tourism destination in the Middle East by 2030, the release said. India is one of the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world and to harness the growth potential, plans are being made to develop an international hub in the country.
