There will be an auction in Chennai for IPL 2021 on 18 February. The stage has been set for this. All the teams have decided which player they want to bet on and which player to not follow. This time is the first time, when the IPL auction is going to take place in Chennai. The first auction has been held in Bangalore, while the 2019 auction was held in Kolkata. Now it’s Chennai. Management of all teams will reach Chennai in one to two days. However, let us tell you that mini auction is happening in IPL 2021. Some rules have also been made for this. It is important for all teams to follow these rules. Let’s tell you about those five rules, which all teams have to follow during the auction.

Rule 1: Every team of IPL will have to buy players from their own fixed amount. That is, the team with the remaining amount will have to buy the players of its choice. The IPL Governing Council has decided that there will be no increase in the purse amount of the teams. Let us tell you the amount left with each team, it has now become clear. On January 20, when the list of retainers and released players was released, at that time it was decided that which team now has how much money left. However the trade window for IPL 2021 is still open and teams can exchange players among themselves if they wish. The trade window will close at 5 pm on February 11. After this, the players will not be able to go from there to each other.

Rule 2: Teams will not have the RTM card i.e. Right to Match card in IPL 2021 auction. This time the mini auction is happening, so the Right to Match card will not be available. In the Maga auction, this facility was available to the teams. After the list of release and retention of players is revealed, and after swapping among themselves, only in auction, teams will be able to put players in their court, all other routes will be closed.

Rule 3: Every team of IPL can keep maximum 25 players in their squad, more than that no other team will be able to do in their court. Not only this, all the teams will also have to keep at least 18 players in their squad. That is, at least 18 and more than 25 players can do teams in their court. No less or no more than this.

Rule 4: Every team of IPL can have at least 17 Indian players and more than 25 Indian players in their squad. This may include capped and uncapped players. Its limits are also fixed and teams can form their own teams according to their own.

Rule 5: All IPL teams can include more than eight international players ie foreign players in their team, more than international players are banned in the team. After this, when the IPL starts, teams can play more than four international players in the playing eleven. However, there is no set number of at least, that is, teams can also enter the match with all Indian players if desired.
