Kohli has been found guilty of Level 1 under Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Under this rule, there are cases of damage to the equipment of the field besides the cricket equipment. Kohli scored 33 runs off 29 balls, though he did not appear in his familiar form. His team won the match by 6 runs.
The IPL said in its statement, ‘Kohli has confessed to Level 1 offense under Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. For this, the decision of the match referee is final and acceptable.

Virat Kohli was able to score just 33 runs in the match against Hyderabad. Kohli was caught out by Vijay Shankar at the hands of Jason Holder. Kohli’s innings was very slow. In his innings, he faced 29 balls and hit four fours. Kohli looked quite angry while going out of the ground. He rapidly hit the chair in the dug out.
