Expert Comment: Asif Iqbal, Head of Research, Escort Securities says that the companies are fine. The business model of companies is also better. But the price bands of these companies are expensive as compared to other companies in their sector. In such a situation, be careful while investing money in both the companies. Apart from this, some other experts have also given neutral rating on both IPOs as well as said that money can be invested for a long period.

Amy Organics is a Surat-based company that manufactures specialty chemicals. The company was formed in the year 2004. The company has several advanced pharmaceutical formulations and APIs in its portfolio. So far the company has developed about 450 pharmaceutical intermediates. Amy Organics also has clients overseas. The company supplies its APIs to America, China, Israel, Japan, North America etc. The portfolio is strong.




About Vijaya Diagnostic

Vijaya Diagnostic is a healthcare chain. Vijaya Diagnostic provides pathology and radiology testing services through its vast network. It has 80 diagnostic centers and 11 reference laboratories in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kolkata and NCR. In the last financial year, the company’s profit had increased to Rs 84.91 crore, while the income of the company was about Rs 389 crore.

Gray market premium

The gray market premium of Amy Organics as on September 1 is Rs 130 per share. Earlier on August 27, Amy’s gray market premium was at Rs 50. On the other hand, the gray market premium of Vijay Diagnostics is running at Rs 16.
