The insurance cover provided under this covers permanent partial disability, permanent total disability as well as transportation expenses for hospitalization due to injuries or serious injuries and death during journey. 2 lakh for injury and Rs.10 lakh for death
In case of hospitalization due to injury, he is covered for Rs 2 lakh. A cover of Rs 7.5 lakh is provided for permanent partial disability. Suppose if a passenger dies in an accident, Rs 10,000 is covered for transportation of his body and Rs 10 lakh in case of death or permanent disability.
