IRCTC Tent City Booking: The government has almost completed the preparations for the Maha Kumbh 2025 to be held in Prayagraj. In view of this, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation i.e. IRCTC has started booking of tent city. According to the official statement of IRCTC, booking has started in Mahakumbh Gram IRCTC Tent City. This tent city will provide a comfortable shelter for the devotees in Mahakumbh.
According to a report by Zee Business, IRCTC has told that two categories of tents are available in the tent city, which cost Rs 6000 per person per night (plus tax). IRCTC Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kumar Jain said that this tent city is being developed with modern facilities. It includes facilities like comfortable place to stay, high quality food and round the clock security. Apart from this, IRCTC has also included the luxury facilities available during the operation of Aastha trains and Bharat Gaurav trains while maintaining the reputation of its brand.
There will also be a separate dining area for eating in the tent city. Sitting and eating facilities and excellent catering services will be available here. IRCTC has set up this tent near bathing ghats and other major sites in Prayagraj. Apart from this, tents will be provided on the Arail side and executive lounge facility on the city side.
