How to fill ITR online
- To file income tax return online, first of all you have to go to the official website of Income Tax Department https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/.
- After this, you have to login by entering your PAN number and password. After login, you will get two options, first – Assessment Year and second Financial Year. After this, if you want to file ITR for the financial year 2024, then choose the option of Financial Year. If you want to file ITR for the year 2024-25, then choose the option of Assessment Year.
- After this you will be given the option of Individual, HUF or Others, in this you have to select Individual.
- In the next step, you will have to choose the Income Tax Return Form. Let us tell you that ITR Forms 1 to 4 are for Individual, HUF. You can select the form you need.
- After this you will get many options. In this, you will have to fill in the basic exemption, taxable income information and then tick the box.
