These steps include sensor-based IOUT solutions for measuring and monitoring water supply, looking at the quantity, quality and regularity of water supply in the village on a real-time basis. These steps provide for GO tagging of each asset.

These states are on top

As the world is trying to return to normalcy, the Water Life Mission welcomes its children to the Learning Center after a long period of one year.

Children are soon victims of water-borne diseases and to fight the epidemic, washing hands has become the most important measure for the safety of individuals.

Giving it supremacy and with a sense of change in life, a campaign has been started by the Government of India under which tap water connections will be provided in all schools, ashrams and anganwadi centers across the country.

The water connection of pipes in schools in Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Telangana has been 100 percent successful with the efforts of the Central and State Governments.

Important information about the scheme

The Water Life Mission is implemented in partnership with the States / UTs. The focus of this program is to ensure regular water supply with sufficient quantity and quality on a long-term basis.

Under the mission, every rural family will be given a connection of tap water and no person will be left out, irrespective of their socio-economic status. JJM is a decentralized, demand driven and community managed program and an approach of planning and implementation from bottom to top has been adopted for this mission.

Village panchayats or village water and sanitation committees play a major role in the planning, implementation, management, operation and maintenance of village water supply schemes. Each village develops a Village Action Plan (VAP) and includes water resource management, water supply infrastructure, gray water treatment and operation and maintenance. The Gram Sabhas approve the VAP for implementation.
