A former terrorist snatched a policeman’s rifle during interrogation in Tral area of Kashmir. The policeman was shot and injured. After that he hid in the generator room with a rifle.
A former terrorist snatched the rifle of a policeman and shot him during interrogation at Tral SOG camp in Awantipora area of Jammu and Kashmir. After this he hid in the generator room. An appeal is being made to surrender him. There is no policeman present in the room where he hid with the weapon. Police officers themselves are coming to the spot and asking him to surrender.
According to the information, a few days ago the Tral police raided a house in the area on the basis of an information. This house belonged to the surrendered terrorist. During the search, some explosives and a 12 bore rifle were recovered from the spot. The surrendered terrorist was not at home at that time. A case was registered in this regard. After which Nagabal Marhama, a resident of surrendered terrorist Mohammad Amin Malik, surrendered to the police on 29 May.
After that, on Wednesday morning, he was brought from the police station to the SOG camp for questioning. To find out from where he had taken the explosives. Later in the afternoon, when he was being interrogated, he snatched the rifle of a policeman who was interrogating him. After that he opened fire on the policeman, in which policeman Amjad Ahmed was injured. There was a stir in the camp after the fire. Surrendered with weapons, the terrorist hid in the generator room inside the camp.
He was asked to surrender but he did not come out till late in the evening. SSP Awantipora himself came to the spot and he is being asked to surrender. IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar says that he is being asked to surrender. He has not taken any policeman inside prisoner. The room in which he is hiding. There is no policeman present there.
