JEE Advanced 2021: Registration process for JEE Advanced will start from today, know how to apply

JEE Advanced 2021: Candidates willing and eligible to register for JEE Advanced will be able to apply by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in.


JEE Advanced 2021: The registration process for JEE Advanced, to be conducted to get admission in the top IITs of the country, will start from today i.e. 13 September 2021. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply for this by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. In such a situation, it was speculated that the result of session 4 of JEE Main may be released today.

The registration process for JEE Advanced 2021 was to begin from September 11 but was postponed by two days due to the delay in JEE Main result 2021. According to the released notification, the last date to apply for the exam is till September 19 and the last date for payment of fee is September 20, 2021. Interested candidates can check the details by visiting the official website.

Admit Card – Will be able to download from 25 September.

Exam date – 3 October

Provisional answer key – 10 October

Declaration of result and final answer key – 15 October

Start date of registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) – 15 October to 16 October 2021

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) date – 18 October 2021

Declaration of AAT Result – 22 October 2021

Who can apply?
Candidates who qualify in any session of JEE Mains exam can apply for JEE Advanced. Apart from this, students who have cleared JEE Mains in 2020 and could not appear for JEE-Advanced paper last year due to Covid-related issues will be allowed to directly register for JEE-Advanced 2021 exam. It will be valid only for JEE-Advanced 2021 and these candidates will be treated as extra than this year’s candidates.

Till last year, a candidate had to score 75% or more in class 12 board exam for JEE-Advanced, but this year, the criterion has been changed considering the fact that due to the corona pandemic Class 12th exams were cancelled. According to the brochure, for JEE-Advanced this year, a candidate should have cleared class 12th examination.


Exam details
The exam will be conducted on 3 October 2021 in two shifts. Paper-1 will be held between 9 am to 12 am and Paper-2 will be held between 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. It is only through JEE Advanced exam that one gets entry in 23 prestigious IIT institutes of the country. This time the exam will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur. Out of the successful candidates who score better in JEE Main, 2.5 lakh students will get a chance to appear in JEE Advanced exam.
