JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Date: IIT Kanpur has announced the date of JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on a single day on 18 May 2025. This exam will be held in two shifts. The date of the country’s most prestigious and toughest engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced has been announced. This exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has announced the date of JEE Advanced exam. There will be two papers in the exam. First paper and second paper. 3 hours have been given for each paper. According to the exam schedule, this exam will be conducted in two shifts in a single day. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Who will give JEE Advanced exam?

The notice issued on the official website of JEE Advanced 2025 states that the JE (Advanced) 2025 exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The exam will be of 3 hours. It is necessary to appear in both the papers. IIT Kanpur has already released the JE Advanced Syllabus 2025 and other complete information will be uploaded on the official website soon. It is expected that IIT Kanpur can announce the form filling process in April 2025. Only students who have passed the JEE Main exam will be able to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who will pass the JEE Main 2025 exam. After this, BE, BTech will be included in the top 2,50,000 candidates in the paper. Only those candidates will be eligible for the JE Advanced exam.

What should be the age?

Candidates should be born on or after 1 October 2000. For SC, ST and PWD candidates, a relaxation of 5 years has been given. Those who are born on or after 1 October 1995 can also apply.

Responsibility of conducting the exam is given in rotation

Let us tell you that entrance exams for admission in IIT are conducted by IITs under different names. Till the year 2012, this exam is being conducted under the name of IIT-JEE, and from the year 2013 till now, it is being conducted under the name of JEE-Advanced. In the year 2011, the responsibility of conducting the IIT-JEE Advanced exam and making the exam paper is given in rotation. It gets marks every 6 years. According to the data, in the year 2011, IIT JEE exam was conducted by IIT Kanpur. After this, IIT Kanpur conducted JEE Advanced in the year 2018 after 6 years. In such a situation, IIT Kanpur has got the responsibility of conducting JEE Advanced exam in the year 2025.
