JEE Advanced 2025: Now candidates appearing for JEE Advanced exam will have to pay more application fee. IIT Kanpur has released the exam notification.

JEE Advanced 2025: An important update has come for the students waiting for JEE Advanced 2025. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released the official information brochure for this year’s exam. Some important changes have been made in the registration process this year, especially in the application fee. It is important for the candidates to know that this time the fee has been increased for the examination centers located abroad.

Registration date and fee changes

Online registration for JEE Advanced 2025 will start from 23 April 2025. This year a special change has been made in the application fee, in which the fee has been increased by US $ 50 for examination centers located abroad.

Specifically, the application fee for examination centers in Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu has been kept at US $ 150, while for other non-SAARC countries this fee will be US $ 250. This change is US $ 50 more than last year. However, the fee for examination centers located within India will remain unchanged.

Application fee for foreign and Indian nationals

IIT Kanpur has also clarified the fee structure for Indian nationals and OCI/PIO cardholders.

Fees for exam centres in India

Female candidates (all categories): Rs 1600

SC, ST and Divyang candidates: Rs 1600

All other candidates: Rs 3200

Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO cardholders

In SAARC countries: US$ 150

In non-SAARC countries: US$ 250

Expansion and change of exam centres

The exam for JEE Advanced 2025 will now be held in 222 cities in India as well as Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu. However, this time the exam centre in Dubai has been discontinued. Students will have to choose the exam centre as per their convenience.

During the registration process, candidates will have to select 10 cities and will be allotted one of these cities. However, sometimes under exceptional circumstances, another city may also be allotted.
