The cheapest recharge plan was recently introduced by Reliance Jio at the price of Rs. However, a day after the launch, the company has changed the benefits of this plan. Jio’s Re 1 plan has been listed on the My Jio app with changes. Let us know about these changes in detail-
Jio’s old Re 1 plan
Let us tell you that 100MB high speed data was offered in Jio’s one rupee plan with a validity of 30 days. There was no calling and messaging facility in this plan. According to the company, after the 100 MB data limit is over, the internet speed limit will come down to 64 kbps.
what changes
According to Jio, the one rupee plan was in testing mode. in which the change has been made. In such a situation, in the recharge plan of Jio of Re 1, 10 MB data will be available instead of the earlier 100 MB. The validity of 30 days of the same plan has been reduced to 1 day. However, as before, the speed will drop to 64 kbps after the 10 MB high speed data limit is exhausted.
why the change
Actually, if the Re 1 plan is recharged 10 times, then users get a total of 1GB data. Whereas for Jio’s 1 GB data, a minimum recharge of Rs 15 has to be done. That’s why the company has changed Jio’s Re 1 plan.
Who is this plan for?
The Re 1 plan from Jio is for the low-income group users, who cannot recharge the expensive pre-paid plan. Let us tell you that a large population of India is living below the poverty line. For which Mukesh Ambani has demanded the government to give subsidy on buying mobiles.
