Jio users will not get a special facility in the recently launched voice only plan. The company has given a big shock to its crores of users. Jio Care has confirmed this.
Jio has recently launched two cheap recharge plans without data for its crores of users. Reliance Jio has launched these plans as per TRAI guidelines, in which users will get the benefit of unlimited calling along with free SMS. However, users will not get a special facility in both these plans of Jio. This move of Jio is no less than a shock for the company’s more than 45 crore mobile users.
This special facility will not be available
According to TelecomTalk’s report, users will not be able to recharge data pack separately in both the recently launched voice only plans of Jio. Jio support has officially confirmed this. This means that if you have recharged your number with Jio’s voice only plan, then you will not be able to recharge any data pack on your number.
TRAI, in its guidelines issued last month, had directed telecom companies to launch affordable recharge plans without data for 2G feature phone users, so that they do not have to buy expensive packs with data unnecessarily. Along with Jio, all private telecom companies have recently launched voice and SMS only plans with 84 days and 365 days validity for users.
Jio support confirmed
Jio support said that data booster or data add-on pack cannot be recharged with those plans in which the voice and SMS plan of Rs 448 is already active. This recharge plan of Jio comes with a validity of 84 days. In this plan, users get the facility of unlimited calling to any number in the whole of India along with free national roaming and 1000 free SMS.
If Jio users ever need internet, they will not be able to club data packs with this plan. Apart from this, Jio also has a voice and SMS only plan of Rs 1,849. This plan offers a validity of 336 days. Users will get the benefit of 3,600 free SMS along with unlimited calling.
