Since then, the audience is waiting with excitement to watch it in theaters. Recently, Rishab Shetty has shared some posters of the film in different languages on his Instagram, with which he announced the release date of the film. Just a few hours after which the film makers also released its first teaser.
This teaser gives a glimpse of the world of the prequel to the 2022 superhit film ‘Kantara’. It has been named ‘Kantara: Chapter 1 – A Legend’. The 82-second teaser is quite simple to look at, but it has doubled the excitement of the fans. It creates the perfect atmosphere to present the events before the story of Rishab Shetty’s 2022 directorial film. The teaser begins with the words, ‘The time has come. The divine forest is whispering’.
Powerful teaser of ‘Kantara 2’ released
Also, a blurry image of Shiva (Rishabh Shetty) is seen in the background, standing in the forest holding a torch. As he is surrounded by fire, a voice is heard, which says, ‘Light! Everything is visible in the light! But this is not light! This is a vision! A vision that tells us what was, what is and what will happen in the future! Can’t you see?’. Then, in the darkness, Shiva’s face appears in full light, which is covered in blood. The teaser also reveals that the story is set during the Kadamba dynasty.
Fans will have to wait till next year
As the moon of the full moon night illuminates the cave, a blood-stained man is seen holding a trident in his hand. He has a Rudraksha garland around his neck and long hair, which makes his presence even more mysterious. A deep heartbeat-like sound is also heard in the background. When his face is revealed, embers are seen glowing in his eyes, indicating the beginning of a new story. The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film will be released on October 2, 2025 next year.
