Actress Sharvari Wagh, who made her OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘The Forgotten Army’ and made her big screen debut with Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2, will next be seen in Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s ‘Maharaja’. These days Sharvari is sharpening her skills and her spirits and recently she was also seen taking training in Kathak dance. Sharvari, who considers film actress Madhuri Dixit as her inspiration, says getting a chance to dance with her is my biggest dream now.

Sharvari says, “I have always been influenced by Madhuri Dixit ji, she has always been a great inspiration to me. I always wanted to learn Kathak. After so many years of wanting to learn Kathak in my heart, I finally started learning Kathak. Whenever I see her songs or snippets on Instagram or dance shows, I search for Kathak teachers on Google to learn Kathak. She has been my role model and hope that someday I get to dance with her. Will get a chance and it will be a great honor for me.”

Like Madhuri Dixit, Sharvari Wagh also likes to be called the daughter of Maharashtra. Sharvari says, “I feel as an actor you keep playing so many different roles that you never know if it is going to work for you. But, learning a different dance style is always in your hands. Learning dance brings both an aura and a rhythm to the body. Kathak for me truly stems from my love for Madhuri Dixit. I want to learn Kathak well because somewhere I have performed her so beautifully. It’s something I’m trying to do just because I’m so impressed by them.”
