PM Kisan: Kisan Credit Card is such a scheme of the central government, through which farmers get loans on time. This scheme was started in 1998. Its purpose was to provide timely short-term credit to the farmers. It was started by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Let us tell you, PM Kisan Credit Card has now been linked with the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers can take a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh from KCC at 4% interest. At the same time, it has become easy for the beneficiary of PM Kisan to apply for KCC.
More than 2 crore KCC issued during the Corona period
According to PIB, more than 2 crore Kisan Credit Cards were issued during the Corona period. Most of these cards were given to small farmers. Such farmers will benefit from the upcoming farming and connectivity infrastructure in the country. The KCC scheme was launched to meet the needs of farmers engaged in farming, fisheries and animal husbandry. The purpose of this was to provide them with a credit limit for a short period of time. So that they can meet their other expenses with decoration.
Big relief from low interest rate
Not only this, with the help of KCC, farmers will not have to pay high interest rates to banks, because its interest rate starts from 2 percent and stays up to 4 percent on average. With the help of this scheme, farmers can repay the loan after harvest, for which they were given this help.

Farmers of the country can also apply for KCC through State Bank of India. For this SBI has also started online service. SBI had recently tweeted that “Empowering farmers by facilitating KCC review on the YONO Krishi platform! State Bank of India farmer customers can now apply for KCC review without visiting the branch by downloading the SBI YONO app.
