Kisan agitation: Agreed to talk to Center, but talks will be on repeal of agricultural law – Tikait made it clear

Taking a dig at the government over Kovid’s position, Chadhuni said, “What was the government doing for the last one year?” People are dying due to lack of oxygen and beds. “

Indian Farmers Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday said that the farmers’ unions are ready to talk with the central government on the three disputed agricultural laws, but the discussion will be on repealing these laws. Addressing the Kisan Panchayat in Prem Nagar village in Bhiwani district of Haryana, Tikait said that the farmers have to continue their agitation for a long time but they certainly will not go home without winning.

Accusing Haryana BKU chief Gurnam Singh Chadhuni government of failing to deal with the situation of Kovid-19, saying, “Patients who are not getting oxygen and beds in hospitals, should be taken to the house of BJP MPs and MLAs . ”
Tikait, who has addressed several Kisan Panchayats in Haryana in recent months, said that farmers have been agitating at various borders of the national capital for more than five months.

He said, “The battle will go on for a long time, no one knows how many months will go on.” But one thing is certain that the farmers will not go back without winning it. ” Tikait also said that the movement received the support of the entire country, including businessmen, youth and other sections.

The BKU leader said that if the government wants to resume dialogue with the United Kisan Morcha, then they are ready.

He said, “When the government wants to negotiate, then the United Kisan Morcha will talk.” But if the government is adamant on suspending these laws for 18 months, then there will be no discussion. We are determined that they will have to withdraw these laws and anything will start from this point. ”

Tikait said in the panchayat that the protesting farmers will continue their agitation in a peaceful manner till the demands are met. While alerting people to the corona virus epidemic, he asked the villagers to put on masks, follow the rules of distance from each other and maintain cleanliness.
