In the Former tab, there are options like checking the status of PM Kisan Yojni, making new registrations. What is this add-on credit card?

Depending on the statement of your credit card, add-on credit card can be taken for any member of the family, such as spouse, parents or children above 18 years. Those who cannot take a credit card directly, they can take an add-on credit card. Add-on credit card is issued only through primary / original credit card. Meaning more than one credit card is issued on the same account. Shopping with both types of cards is paid from the same account.

How many add-on cards can be taken at one time?

Add-on card facility is available on most premium credit cards. According to the rules of the card issuing bank, 1 to 5 add-on credit cards can be taken. Most of the features and benefits of an add-on card are usually similar to those of a primary credit card. Most credit add-on cards (add-on credit card) have a credit primary equivalent to a credit card, but some banks, according to the rules, keep the credit card of the supplementary card lower than the primary. If there is more than one add-on card, then the total credit limit of the primary card is divided between the primary and the add-on card.

How much does it charge?

Most banks offer add-on credit card benefits for free. However, some charges can be levied if different banks have different rules. Annual fees can be recovered. Charges are levied on the cards taken after a limited number of add on cards. The charge is also different according to different cards.

Can withdraw cash

Cash add-on credit card benefits (add-on credit card benefits) can also be withdrawn from an add-on card. The record of all transactions of the add-on card will remain in the primary card account. If you give a supplementary card to someone, then the complete record of transactions can be kept with that card. Like add-on credit cards, shopping can be done in India and abroad just like the original credit card. You can shop both online and offline. On the add-on card also you will get reward or bonus points like the primary card.

Primary cardholders keep these things in mind

The dues of the Add-on Cards are to be paid by the primary cardholder. So if there is a delay in repaying the arrears of these cards, then it gets included in the primary cardholder’s CIBIL report and the credit score can be affected. In case of non-payment of dues, the penalty for interest payment or wrong use of add-on credit card will also have to be paid by the primary cardholder.

Delay in payment of dues will be expensive

Since the dues of the add-on cards have to be paid by the primary card holder, if there is a delay in payment of the dues of the add-on cards, it is included in the primary cardholder’s CIBIL report and affects the credit score.

Benefits of Add-on Credit Card

Most credit cards allow the customer to carry out various transactions such as shopping in India and abroad. Card holders also get the same benefits through add-on credit cards.

Both online and offline purchases can be done through an add-on credit card.

Whenever you use a credit card, you get a reward or bonus point. Reward points are also available in all supplementary cards.

Primary card holders should keep these things in mind

The expenses incurred on the add-on credit card are shown in the account of the primary credit card holder and the bill also has to be paid to them.

In case of non-payment of dues, the primary cardholder also has to pay the penalty for the incorrect payment of interest payment or add-on credit card.

If the misuse of the add-on card is wrong, the credit card of the primary cardholder will be affected.
