KVS Class 1 Admission 2024: There is important news for parents who want to admit their children in Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1. Forms for admission to Class-1 will be filled from April 1. Such parents will be able to apply by visiting the website. Steps for application will be given on the official website.
KVS Class 1 Admission 2024: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) today announced that the registration process for Class 1 admission for the academic year 2024-2025 will begin from April 1 at 11 am. After which parents will be able to apply online for admission to their children by visiting the official websites – kvsagathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
Question paper is divided into 5 parts
According to the notification, the letter of admission is divided into five sections, each designed under a separate tab. Which has different section/tab titles. In the Parents In tab, basic information like – parents details, choice of schools, upload documents, declaration and submit etc. have to be filled.
These documents will be required during application
- A valid mobile number
- A valid email
- A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child taking admission (JPEG file of maximum size 256KB)
- A scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of maximum size 256KB)
- Details of government certificate if you are applying under Economically Weaker Section
- Transfer details of parents/grandparents whose service credentials will be used in the application
The form will be considered successful only when the submission code is received from the portal.
Parents should note that the application will not be considered submitted to the organization until they receive the application submission code from the online admission portal. For admission in single girl child category, parents will also have to upload the relevant documents.
Age Range
It is mandatory for children to be 6 years old for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1. Age will be calculated from March 31, 2024. At the same time, the age of the child should not be more than 8 years. In KV new admission, 15 percent seats will be reserved for SC category, 7.5 percent for ST category and 27 percent for OBC.
