Coronavirus cases are also decreasing in Delhi-NCR and the number of people who die is constantly decreasing, due to which this order has been issued to come to office everyday.
The lockdown was carried out across the country from last March to prevent the growing infection of coronaviruses. After this, only the staff posted to the post of Under Secretary and above were allowed to come to the office. In the order issued last Saturday to go to the government office, it has been said that the office and living staff in the Containment Zone are not required to come to the office, for that they should wait for the next order.
In May 2020, the central government had said that 50 percent of the staff below the level of deputy secretary can be allowed to work from home. Those who are coming to office during this period should also be given different time slots to prevent the growing crisis of coronavirus. The order said that necessary provisions should be made to ensure that there is no congestion in the office.
It was said in the government’s order that people should come to the office at different times in government offices so that congestion can be avoided. The order issued on Saturday said that now the government employee should come to office on working days. However, the biometric attendant system cannot be used to register the presence until further orders.
The new order states, “All government employees are now advised to come to the office on working days of the week.”
