Faceless contactless facility will be started through Aadhar authentication. This will provide people the facility to take the test for learning license from home. The Transport Department has issued instructions related to this.
Learning License: From February, learning licenses will start being made at home in all the districts of the state including Bhagalpur. Regarding this, the Joint Secretary of the Transport Department has sent a letter to the State Information and Science Officer.
The Joint Secretary has said that the Road Transport and State Ministry of the Government of India had already instructed to start the facility of its test for making learning license at home, but due to some reasons, work on it could not be started.
He said, the State Information and Science Officer NIC should start the faceless contactless facility through Aadhaar authentication as soon as possible, so that consumers can get the facility of giving the test for learning license at home.
The facility will start from February-March
He said that as soon as the facility of Aadhaar authentication is started by NIC, the facility of test for learning license will start in the state. By the end of February or the first week of March, this service will be available to all the people across the state.
Let us tell you that Aurangabad is the only district in the state where the facility of giving test for learning license from home has started. With its launch, you can give the test for learning license through computer sitting at home as well as through your smartphone.
You can avail the test facility in this way
Those holders who have to get a learning license first for a driving license, will first go to the official website of the Ministry of Transport and apply for it. After uploading all the necessary documents, they will fill the option whether they want to give the test at home or by going to the transport office.
After this, under the new process, the holder will have to upload his Aadhar card and mobile number linked to Aadhar. Through which one time password will be sent from there. After uploading the OTP, you will have to click on the authentication button. Then you will have to make payment for it.
After this, to proceed with the 10-minute test, you will get to see a 10-minute driving instruction video mandatory by the government. In which there will be some questions and other information related to road and transport. After this, at the end of the video, you will again get an OTP and password on the mobile number.
After this, the information sought will have to be uploaded. Then you will have to click on the option for the test. Along with clicking, turn on the front camera of your device and fix it on the face. After this, you will give the test. To pass the test, you have to answer at least 6 out of 10 questions correctly.
If you fail the test, you will have to pay to take the test again. If you pass, the PDF format of the learning license will be available on your mobile.
