West Bengal Librarian Recruitment 2023: The state government is recruiting librarians for hundreds of vacancies through four separate notifications. How many vacancies in which district?
Out of total 138 vacancies, 52 in South 24 Parganas, 38 in Birbhum, 30 in Purulia and 18 in Jalpaiguri libraries. Let’s know about the qualifications and salary required for librarian post recruitment.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent board examination and have certificate in Library and Information Science from designated training center can apply for this recruitment. Candidates having Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science can also apply for this recruitment. In addition to educational qualification, the applicants must have knowledge of computer applications and knowledge of Bengali (Nepali in case of candidates from Darjeeling, Kalimpong).
Age and Salary of Applicants:
Candidates age should be between 18 years to 40 years for the recruitment of librarian post. The salary of those employed in this post ranges from Tk 22,700 to Tk 58,500.
Candidate Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through written test of 50 marks followed by computer based test and interview.
