In which they have been advised to be vigilant with fake agents and not to respond to fake calls.
Do not surrender policy in case of good returns
LIC says that many times fraudsters lure more good returns in the new policy. Through this, they try to confuse the policyholder. But do not surrender the policy in the matter of getting returns, otherwise you may lose money. Apart from this, customers should not share any information related to their policy on such unknown calls.

In such a situation, always use the official website of LIC to get information about the policy holders scheme. You will get all kinds of information there. Apart from this, buy the policy only from agents who have license issued by IRDAI or have ID card issued by LIC.
Can file a complaint
LIC has also asked the customers to register a complaint against them with fake calls or being cautious with the agent. LIC says that if the customer receives a fake call or the agent tries to contact, they can send a complaint via e-mail to co_crm_fb @ licindia.
