Whereas the minimum amount for annual premium payment is Rs 30000, for half yearly premium it is Rs 16000, for half yearly premium it is Rs 9000 and the monthly premium amount is minimum Rs 3000. From 25 this year onwards, any person in the age group of 75 years can buy the policy. It becomes mature between the age of 35 to 85 years. The policy term ranges from 10 years to 42 years. The pension amount depends on your investments. There is no limit on maximum investment. This can be availed online by visiting the official website of LIC. This plan is not available through LIC agencies, brokers or banks. Under the plan, four options are given for investment in the fund. Which includes Pension Bond Fund, Pension Secure Fund, Pension Balance Fund and Pension Growth Fund. Both return and risk are different for everyone.

If a person invests Rs 30,000 every year, he invests Rs 12.7 lakh in 42 years. This amount reaches Rs 59,92,991 at the time of maturity. According to this, the policy holder gets a pension of Rs 7, 06, 928 every year i.e. a pension of up to Rs 58,000 every month.
