According to RTO (Enforcement) Shailesh Tiwari, strict action will also be taken on overspeeding, rash driving, driving while talking on mobile or crossing red light. In such cases, the DL will be suspended for the first time. If the driver makes a similar mistake again, his DL will be canceled. He told that the DL of many drivers has been seized and suspended for three months. In 2024, 6761 vehicles were challaned in cases of dangerous driving. Despite this, some drivers are not improving. Therefore, more strict steps will be taken now.
