New Delhi: LIC Alert: Those who use the logo of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) without the permission of the insurance company in their business or for any other purpose, then big trouble can arise for them. LIC has warned of strict action against such people.
Action will be taken if LOGO is used: LIC
Life Insurance Corporation of India has warned that if any person is caught using his logo unauthorized without the permission of the insurance company, then strict legal action will be taken against him, as it is a punishable offence. Usually people use LIC’s logo in hoardings and pamphlets to make their business shine. But now they can’t do that. Either they have to stop this or they will have to get the approval of LIC for this.

‘Use of LOGO is illegal’
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has also made a tweet about this. In which he has written that LIC’s logo cannot be used in any website, publishing material and digital post without permission. LIC also said in its tweet that the use of its logo is illegal. Strict legal action will be taken against such people under civil and criminal.
‘Policyholders should be protected from fraud messages’
Apart from this, LIC has also made a second tweet to its policyholders to avoid fraud. In this, LIC has told its policyholders that LIC does not share information related to bonus with policyholders over the phone. LIC officials never ask you for your policy number, PAN number and nominee details over the phone.
