EPFO ​​told the process of submitting digital life certificate

The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has shared the entire process of submitting digital life certificate on social media. According to this, you need a mobile phone with a 5 megapixel front camera and internet facility. Along with this, your Aadhaar number must be registered.

This is the way

  • First of all, download Jeevan Pramaan Face App and Aadhaar Face RD applications from Google Play Store.
  • Then, scan your face with these applications and fill in all the required information.
  • Take a photo with your front camera and submit all the information.
  • After this process, your life certificate will be deposited without going to any bank or post office.

Increased use of digital life certificate

According to government data, there are about 78 lakh pensioners in the country. Out of these, more than 6.6 lakh people have submitted digital life certificate in the financial year 2023-24. Last year, in 2022-23, 2.1 lakh people used this digital method, which has now increased by more than 200 percent year on year. If you do not want to adopt the digital method, then you can also submit the life certificate at the Common Service Center or Government Office.
