SBI PAN-Aadhaar Link Alert: The government has made it necessary to link Aadhaar with PAN, so that financial transactions can be transparent and hassle-free. SBI’s advice to customers
At the same time, SBI, the largest public sector bank, has also asked its customers to link PAN and Aadhaar. The bank has also asked its account holders to do this work by 30 September. According to SBI, if a customer does not do this, then he may face problems in banking service. The bank has tweeted that it is mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar. If not linked, the PAN will become inoperative/inoperative and cannot be quoted for carrying out the transaction.”

Earlier its deadline was 31 March 2021, then it was extended till 30 June. But due to the increasing cases of corona, its deadline was 30 September. Its process has been simplified further and it can also be done online from the new portal of Income Tax. Along with the launch of the new portal on June 8, the government told through the UI (User Interface) how people can file tax very easily.
How to link PAN with Aadhaar
Step 1: Open the Income Tax e-filing portal https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
Step 2: ‘Link Aadhaar’ will appear in the Quick Links section on the homepage.
Step 3: In the ‘Link Aadhaar’ section, click on the option ‘Know your Aadhaar-PAN link status’.
Step 4: This will take you to a new window. Enter your PAN and Aadhar card details in this box.
Step 5: After filing the details, click on ‘view link aadhaar status’.
