MP Election: Due to the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, dry day will be observed from 6 pm today on 17th November and 3rd December. In such a situation, there will be a complete ban on the sale of liquor.

MP Election: Voting for assembly elections is going to be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th November. The police administration has become strict regarding this. Not only this, dry day has been declared for voting and counting in the district. In such a situation, the sale of liquor has been banned in Madhya Pradesh for 3 days. In such a situation, all domestic and foreign liquor shops will remain closed in Madhya Pradesh.

Order issued

In this regard, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T has issued orders. According to the order issued, there will be a dry day in the entire district from 48 hours before the voting of the assembly elections i.e. from 6 pm today till the end of voting on 17th November and after that for the entire day on 3rd December i.e. the day of counting of votes.

During this time, all the composite liquor shops, eating houses of Indore district like FL 2, 3, 4 and FL 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 A and 10 B, B.-3, FL-9 A, Orders have been given to close wine retail outlets, FLAPCs and domestic and foreign liquor warehouses.

During this period, selling or serving liquor to anyone in liquor shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs and other selling and serving points etc. will be completely prohibited. Immediate strict action will be taken against those who violate the order.
