Liquor Shops Closed: : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions. CM directs that all the liquor shops running near places like religious places, schools and highways should be closed. He also said that strict action should be taken against those who make and sell illegal liquor, as well as ensure intensive monitoring.
CM’s strict instructions
In this regard, CM Yogi even said that it should also be ensured that there are no shops selling liquor at these places. CM Yogi had earlier also instructed that there should be no liquor shops and no shops selling meat on the way to Kanwar Yatra. On Saturday, the CM took stock of the revenue receipts in the current financial year and during this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna was also present with him.
Revenue evasion national loss
The CM also said that after continuous efforts, the non-tax revenue collection of the state is increasing. In the first quarter of this financial year, more than 46 thousand crore revenue has been received so far. Along with this, CM Yogi also said that there are immense possibilities in the state, he said that new sources should be found to increase the revenue collection. Regarding GST evasion, the Chief Minister said that monitoring should be increased to prevent GST evasion. Along with this, the CM termed revenue theft as a national loss.
