Delhi Liquor Shops Closed: All liquor shops will remain closed in Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad. Apart from this, there are orders to keep all the shops at these places closed on the day of results on 4th June.
Liquor shops Closed: Lok Sabha elections are now in their final stages. Five phases of voting have been completed. Voting for the sixth phase will be held on 25th May and voting for the 7th phase will be held on 1st June. The election results will come on June 4. The election campaign for the sixth phase of voting will end today. In the sixth phase, voting will also be held in Delhi and Haryana.
Ahead of the sixth phase of voting, all liquor shops and other licensed shops in Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram will remain closed from 6 pm on May 23 to 6 pm on May 25. In these cities, all liquor shops will be kept closed on the day of Lok Sabha election results i.e. June 4.
According to a notification issued by the Excise Department, various liquor shops and other licensed premises in Delhi will remain closed from 6 pm on May 23 to 6 pm on May 25, approximately 48 hours before the end of voting. Apart from this, liquor will not be sold on June 4, the day of election results.
Voting will also be held in Gurugram, Haryana on May 25. In the instructions issued by the Gurgaon district administration, it was said that all the liquor shops of the city have been ordered to remain closed for 48 hours before the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections.
The sale of liquor will also remain closed on June 4, scheduled for counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections. According to the report, Gurugram district administration has seized illegal liquor worth Rs 61 lakh amid Lok Sabha elections 2024.
In the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held on 58 seats in six states and two union territories. In this phase, voting will be held on all the 10 seats of Haryana as well as all the seven seats of Delhi.
Voting will start at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be declared after the counting of votes on June 4. 889 candidates are in the fray in the sixth phase.
