List Of Bank Holidays In 2021: Total 15 Holidays In The 4 Metros This Year

Banks will stay closed for several holidays in 2021 across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, namely Holi, Good Friday, Id-ul-Fitar, Diwali, Guru Nanak Jayanti, and Christmas. All banks in the country, including the public sector, the private sector, international banks, cooperative banks and regional banks, are closed every Sunday and on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, according to the directives of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In addition, there are several small holidays that differ from state to state. This is a list of some of the four metros’ major bank holidays in 2021:
