According to sources, a strict decision like lockdown can also be taken in Delhi amidst increasing cases, which will be a full curfew.
Full curfew can be extended even further
It is being told that if the cases of corona virus infection do not decrease and the situation does not improve, then the full curfew implemented by April 26 can be extended further.
According to the information received, the Aam Aadmi Party government can take many big and tough decisions in view of the increasingly increasing cases of Corona virus infection in Delhi. It is being told that on Monday afternoon, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has proposed an important meeting with the Lieutenant Governor. After this meeting, Arvind Kejriwal himself can announce several strict restrictions by holding digital journalist talks. It is also being said that lockdown will not be imposed, but restrictions like lockdown can be imposed, as imposed in Maharashtra.
On the other hand, Delhi recorded 25,462 new cases on Sunday, the highest in a day so far. 49,837 patients have been found in two days. The number of active patients has reached 75 thousand. Death figures are also increasing. 161 patients died in the last 24 hours. It is a matter of some relief that for the first time, 20,159 patients were cured in a day.
The eruption of Corona is starting to prove fatal to the people. The infection rate has reached close to 30 percent. Nearly every third person who gets a corona check is getting infected. Corona infection cases have crossed 25 thousand. Corona infection has increased so fast that in the last five days only one lakh three thousand 304 cases have been reported. During this period 685 patients have died.
According to the Health Department, a total of eight lakh 53 thousand 460 cases have been reported in Delhi so far. Out of which seven lakh 66 thousand 398 patients have also been cured. This has reduced the recovery rate of patients from 90.12 percent to 89.79 percent. The death toll has risen to 12,121. However, the death rate has come down from 1.47 per cent to 1.42 per cent. Currently there are 74,941 active patients. Out of which 13,887 patients are admitted in hospitals. At the same time, there are 558 patients in Kovid Care Center and 96 patients in Kovid Health Center. Apart from this, the number of patients being treated in home isolation has increased to 34,398.
