Lockdown in Maharashtra will increase by 15 days  

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope says the lockdown in the state will be extended for another 15 days. In Maharashtra, the lockdown is currently in force till 30 April. Significantly, despite the strictness in the state, new cases of corona are continuously coming up in many districts. Because of this the lockdown will be increased. Restrictions like lockdown in Maharashtra are in force from 8 pm on 14 April. Section 144 is applicable in the entire state. The entire lockdown has also been demanded if the corona cases do not fall. Everything will be closed except essential services in the state. Although the public transport service will continue as usual during this period, private vehicles have not been allowed to operate. The state government has decided that groceries, vegetable shops, bakeries and dairies will be opened from 7 am to 11 am in the entire state. 

Night curfew in Bihar from 6 pm

In view of the ever increasing case of Corona in Bihar, according to the decision taken in the meeting of Disaster Management Group on Wednesday, now all shops and business establishments will be closed at four o’clock in the evening to reduce the movement of people. Earlier this discount was up to six in the evening. At the same time, the night curfew will now be implemented only from six o’clock in the evening instead of nine o’clock at night. Night curfew will remain in force till six in the morning. This order will be in force till the 15th of the following month. The government has decided that now only 50 people can attend the wedding ceremony instead of a hundred. The program has been asked to end by ten o’clock at night. Only 20 people will be able to participate in the Shraddha program. The last rites of those who will die from Corona will now be at the expense of the government. The people will also bear the expenses of the funeral on the death of those whose corona investigation report has come negative but they had symptoms of corona.

Weekend lockdown will be held on Saturday and Sunday in UP  

In Uttar Pradesh, the positivity rate has been around 30 percent. To prevent the rising outbreak of Kovid-19, the Uttar Pradesh government has now decided to impose weekend lockdown (Corona curfew) in the state every Saturday and Sunday. Earlier, till May 15, the entire state was declared as a weekly full detainee on Sunday, ordering a 35-hour corona curfew from 8 am on Saturday night to 7 am on Monday. Night curfew is still in force from eight o’clock in the morning to seven in the morning. However, Allahabad has demanded a lockdown in the state.

Weekend Lockdown in Punjab 

In view of increasing corona infection cases in Punjab, the weekend lockdown has been decided. On the lines of Haryana, now markets in Punjab will also be closed daily at 6 pm. This decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh. 

Lockdown extended till May 2 in Delhi 

In order to curb the corona infection in Delhi, the government of Arakejriwal has extended the lockdown from 26 April to 2 May. The lockdown will remain till 5 am on 2 May. During this time all malls, gyms, spas, auditoriums, assembly halls, entertainment parks will remain closed. Eating at restaurants will be banned. All markets will remain closed. During this, sick people will be allowed to go to the hospital. Apart from this, sick people will be allowed to go to the hospital and come from the hospital. DTC buses and Delhi Metro will continue to operate. Public transport facilities such as autos and taxis will continue to operate. Hospital, government employees, police, district magistrate, people connected with electricity, water, sanitation will get exemption in lockdown.

‘Lockdown’ increased in these five big cities of MP including Bhopal

MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has extended restrictions issued in Chhindwara, Ratlam, Sagar and Jabalpur, including the capital Bhopal. Restrictions like lockdown will continue in Bhopal till May 3. At the same time, in Chhindwara, Ratlam, Sagar and Jabalpur, this ban will remain till May 1. Although the government has called it a corona curfew, the restrictions are the same as lockdown.

Lockdown extended till 6 May in Jharkhand 

Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a meeting with members of the Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday in view of the rising infection of the corona virus in Jharkhand. It was decided in the meeting that the partial lockdown (Health Safety Week) be strictly extended for a week. Now the shops will open till 2 pm. There is no time constraint for drug stores. People will be able to move only till three in the afternoon. This order will remain in effect till six o’clock in the morning of May 6. Earlier, the state government had implemented Health Safety Week from 6 am on April 22 to 6 am on April 29, but in view of the increasing infection of the corona virus, it was extended for a week with further strictures. Has been given. The order issued by the state government includes school-college, coaching, educational-training institute, swimming pool, gym, park, hotel-restaurant (sit-down ban), cinema hall, mall, Liquor shops have been closed. The general public is strictly forbidden to go out on the road unnecessarily. Prohibitory orders have been imposed under Section 144 in the entire state. Ration, vegetable and drug stores are exempted from lockdown.

Night curfew implemented in 4 districts of Himachal 

Night curfew will remain in force from April 27 to May 10 in 4 districts of Himachal Pradesh – Kangra, Una, Solan and Sirmaur. Instructions have been issued to keep shops closed on Saturday and Sunday to prevent Kovid infection in Himachal.

15 day lockdown in Rajasthan 

Rajasthan has announced a lockdown for 15 days, which will remain in force till 3 May. The Ashok Gehlot government released a new guideline amidst the rapidly growing corona transition in Rajasthan. Under this, till 3 May, it was renamed as Public Discipline Fortnight. All commercial establishments and markets will remain closed in this. A night curfew was imposed from 6 pm Friday to 5 am Monday. Strictness will be done on the border of the state. Those coming from outside will be given admission only after showing the RTPCR report within 72 hours.

Lockdown extended in Chhattisgarh 

The infection of corona in Chhattisgarh is still not reduced. In such a situation, the district administration of Raipur, Dhamtari and Surajpur has extended the lockdown till May 5. The lockdown period was being completed in these districts on Monday. Restriction of lockdown will continue in other districts as well.

Shops closed in Haryana from 6 pm   

In the districts of Haryana where the number of corona infected is increasing, it will do more vigorously. Currently, lockdown will not be imposed in Gurugram and Faridabad. The Manohar government will wait for the central government’s decision for the lockdown. Priority should be given to 100% work from home (work from home) in private institutions in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Rohtak, Hisar. The markets in Haryana have been closed since 6 pm.  

Uttarakhand is not currently a lockdown  

The state government in Uttarakhand is not in favor of the lockdown. This was agreed upon in an informal meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. It was decided to ban public programs in the state to prevent overcrowding. Apart from this, it was decided to keep the maximum number of people 50 to attend the wedding ceremonies. Corona curfew will remain in force in Ramnagar areas and Haldwani of Nainital district from 27 April to 3 May. Night curfew will be applicable in all districts of Uttarakhand from 9 am to 5 am. The weekly Kovid curfew will be in force throughout the state every Sunday. However, in the Municipal Corporation area of ​​Dehradun district, the weekly Kovid curfew has been implemented for two days i.e. Sunday and Saturday.  

All government offices in Uttarakhand will open from today

The government has ordered the opening of all government offices in Uttarakhand from Thursday. The cent percent attendance of Group A and B officers in the offices and the presence of Group C and D employees is fixed at 50 percent on the basis of rotation. On Wednesday afternoon, the government issued an order to keep all offices closed until Saturday 1 May. On this, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that when doctors and police personnel can work, why not other personnel. A new order was issued late in the evening. 

Partial lockdown in Gujarat since April 28 

In view of the increasing cases of corona infection in Gujarat, the state government has announced a partial lockdown from April 28. All the shops, malls, multiplexes, temples, gardens, gyms, bathrooms, etc., except medical, dairy, ration, vegetable-fruit from Wednesday night to May 5, with curfew from eight to six in the night in eight metros and 29 cities. Will be closed The government has also banned various ceremonies. The situation of the corona in the state was reviewed in a meeting of the core committee chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In view of the Central Government’s guidelines, the advice of doctors and various organizations, the government announced partial lockdown in the state from April 28 to May 5, and decided to keep all of them closed except for essential services. 

Corona curfew for two weeks in Karnataka 

A two-week corona curfew has been imposed in Karnataka amid rising cases of corona. During this period, necessary services will be exempted. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that the Corona curfew has been implemented in the state for the next 14 days from April 28. Only essential items will be allowed from six in the morning to ten in the morning. The shops will remain closed after 10 o’clock in the morning. Only construction, manufacturing and agriculture sectors will be allowed. Public transport will remain closed. The manufacturing sector will be kept open, but the garment-construction will be kept closed. He said that the corona is spreading rapidly in the state from Delhi and Maharashtra as well. 

11 districts of Jammu and Kashmir put on lockdown

Stringent restrictions in tamil nadu  

Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday announced a complete lockdown. The government also announced stringent restrictions, including the closure of theaters and malls from Monday.

Night curfew in 10 districts of Odisha

Night curfew has been imposed in 10 districts of Odisha since last 5 April. All these 10 districts are bordering Chhattisgarh. Night curfew has been imposed in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargad, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Navarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri. Night curfew will continue in these districts from 10 to 5 pm till further orders.

New restrictions imposed in Kerala  

The Kerala government decided to implement several new restrictions. These include a night curfew for two weeks from nine in the morning to five in the morning. In view of the new guidelines, cinema halls, malls, gyms, clubs, sports complexes, entertainment parks and bars have been closed and are not allowed to open till further orders of the state government. Shops can be open until 7:30 in the evening. According to the government order, tuition centers will be able to run only online during this period. As far as possible meetings of all government departments, training programs and other programs will be organized online. 

Night curfew in Assam till May 1 

Night curfew has been imposed in Assam from 8 am to 5 am. This order will come into force with immediate effect and will remain in force till 1 May.

The Government of Nagaland has been directed to issue new Kovid Guidelines which will come into force from 30 April.
