In view of the increasing corona infection in Delhi, the Delhi government has extended the lockdown till May 10. During this period, no one is allowed to leave, except those connected with essential services. Here, DMRC has also changed its metro schedule since Monday after the Delhi government increased the lockdown.
Now the metro will be available at intervals of every 15 minutes between 7 am and 11 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. While at the time, passengers will have to wait 30 minutes at the station for the metro. Apart from this, passengers will have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes at metro interchange station and 30 minutes at select interchange . Seeing the increasing transition, the Delhi Metro appealed to the passengers, saying that any passengers who are not connected to the essential services should remain in the houses during the lockdown.
