In Madhya Pradesh, on Monday, the government passed the Freedom of Religion Bill 2021 (Anti Love Jihad Bill) in the Legislative Assembly to prevent Love Jihad in Madhya Pradesh. According to this bill, both the marriage and the marriage will be found guilty. Along with this, it has been mentioned that if any such marriage takes place in the state then it will be considered as zero in the eyes of the government. There was a heated debate between the government and the Congress before the bill was passed in the House. The BJP accused the Congress that it would have supported this bill if the Congress had thought about the well-being and respect of women.
