After the cut, the rate of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1764.50. Earlier it was Rs 1795. At the same time, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai has come down to Rs 1930. At the same time, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai and Kolkata has become Rs 1717.50 and Rs 1879.
There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder
This deduction is only for commercial LPG cylinders. There has been no change of any kind in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders by the government. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain the same in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata as well as other small and big cities of the country.
What is the price of domestic LPG cylinder in big cities?
14.2 kilo domestic LPG cylinder is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. To provide relief to the general public from inflation, the government has reduced the prices of domestic LPG cylinders almost twice in the last 6 months. Last i.e. on 9th March, the government had reduced the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 100. At the same time, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a reduction of Rs 200 was announced in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.
