New Delhi: The Central Government has recently reduced the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 200 for the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Scheme. In this sequence, Madhya Pradesh government has announced to provide LPG cylinders to the people of the state at the price of only Rs 450. The application process to get LPG cylinder at cheaper rates will start from September 15.
Announcement of providing LPG cylinder for Rs 450
Last month, on the occasion of Sawan and Rakshabandhan, the Madhya Pradesh government had given LPG cylinders to the people of the state for only Rs 450. Now the government is going to provide LPG cylinders for only Rs 450 every month.
They will get cheap LPG gas cylinder
According to the Madhya Pradesh government, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, women with LPG connection and the beneficiaries of Ladli Brahmin Yojana will get the kitchen cylinder at a low price of only Rs 450.
How to get money in account
The Central Government has reduced the price of LPG gas cylinder by Rs 200 last month, after which the price of the cylinder has come down by around Rs 1100 (approximate price) to around Rs 900. According to the Madhya Pradesh government, the beneficiaries will have to pay the fixed price i.e. Rs 900 or whatever is fixed in the state for refilling the cylinder at the gas agency. Later the government will return Rs 450 to the beneficiaries’ accounts. This amount will be refunded to the beneficiaries from September 1.
How and where to apply
To get LPG cylinder for only Rs 450, applicants will have to apply under Ladli Brahmin Yojana. That is, the way the applications for Ladli Brahmin Yojana were filled in the Gram Panchayat office, Anganwadi office or camp office, in the same way one will have to apply to get the cylinder at a cheaper rate. This application process will start from 15 September 2023.
