Now you will soon get rid of the heavy gas cylinder of LPG. Now Fiber Glass Composite LPG cylinder has been launched to replace the iron cylinder. The special thing about this cylinder will be that its weight will be less than the old conventional cylinder. Apart from this, people will also get it at a lower price and people can also replace it with their old gas cylinder. This new gas cylinder made of fiberglass will be safer than the old cylinder.
Features of Composite Cylinder: The weight of the new composite cylinder will be 50% less than that of the old cylinder. This cylinder will be completely transparent and will weigh only 6 kg. Its structure is also beautiful to look at. You will also be able to find cylinders of many colors in it. While the old cylinder with gas weighs 31 kg, the composite cylinder will be of only 16 kg. Due to its low weight, women will also be able to lift it easily. The most important thing is that it being a fiber will be completely corrosion resistant.
What will be the price: Composite gas cylinder will be available in 10 kg and 5 kg. While the price of 10 kg gas cylinder will be Rs 692, then for 5 kg you will have to pay Rs 363. Both of these will be fitted with the old regulator. In this you will be able to easily see how much gas is left in the cylinder. At present, a 10 kg cylinder will get about 4 kg less gas than the old cylinder.
This cylinder will be available in 28 cities: On Saturday (25 September), MP Hema Malini launched this cylinder in a program organized by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in Omaxe City. In the first phase, it will be available in 28 cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Banaras, Faridabad, Prayagraj, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Patna, Mysore, Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Raipur, Ranchi, Ahmedabad. Giving information, the cylinder distribution company Indane said that to get a new composite gas cylinder, the customer will have to pay a security of Rs 3350 on 10 kg and Rs 2150 on a cylinder of 5 kg.
